Laser Gum Therapy

Used in conjunction with other treatments, laser therapy is relatively painless and marginally invasive.

Overview

Advanced technology allows more effective treatment of gum disease that is both minimally invasive and less painful than traditional options. Because laser therapy removes less gum tissue than the flap procedure, gum recession is reduced and bone growth is promoted.

Once oral anesthetic is applied to gums, the laser begins to remove harmful tartar and bacteria. The laser creates a barrier of blood clots to begin the healing process. Laser Gum therapy does not involve incisions or stitches nor does it compromise bone health.

Laser Gum Therapy recovery time is 24 hours. This technique is longer lasting than other options and is extremely accurate.
